Thanks, everyone, for putting your work out. I'm impressed and every time I browse I see something fabulous.

I'm not an artist by trade. My buddies and family, none that I know of are artist. An Ex GF was but never talked about it or showcased while we were together. In all, there hasn't been much influence to pursue a career in art, or I probably would have at least tried, instead of choosing a more economical study.

I did however work for one of the largest Art Universities in the world (not the most highly touted mind you, but just in terms of sheer volume). Naturally, I was surrounded by all kinds of art and met a few artist along the way. What I've learned, especially on the perception of art/artists from the non-artist population, I plan to share in my journals to come.

Finally, I'm here because photos, drawings, poems, etc...are things I can appreciate, strictly as a hobby. Notoriety or commercial purposes isn't in my agenda. To put it in perspective, I've known about DA only for about a week.
